so much to do……

I gots some catching up to do!  The past couple days have been somewhat of a whirlwind.  Getting my business started has proven to be more of a challenge than I was expecting.  I realized that I really don’t know all that many people, so it’s been really difficult to get any skin care classes booked, and so far only one friend has placed an order, and only one other has offered to take me up on my “web show” offer.  BUT I got my first inventory order in the mail, which also contained all the make-up and skin care products that I wanted(which I get to write off – neener neener) so I got a newfound burst of excitement.  I’m planning my big business debut for this weekend.  Hopefully it won’t be a repeat of my baby shower 😛

I forgot to mention, my driving lesson last Sunday went swimmingly.  I did really well.  Now all I have to do is a little parallel parking and a little highway driving, and maybe practice left turns a little more, and I’ll be set.  Ryan and I are setting aside practice time every weekend (don’t I have the best husband?  AND the best parents, since they babysit for me?!?)

My little peanut has been waking up almost every night again (which is why I’m blogging in the middle of the night!)  I’m not sure if she’s having a growing spurt, or if her teeth are bothering her.  Whether she wakes me up, or my insomnia acts up, I’m going to learn to love being up in the night, seeing as that’s the only time I can get things done without distraction!  I have to organize my inventory and paperwork, and plan my business debut 🙂  So much easier to get things done while the family is sleeping and out of my hair…

I’m not sure if I mentioned this, but when I started making Willow’s baby food, I set aside some seeds that I had dug out of a butternut squash, and planted them in a couple of small pots.  I wanted to see what would happen, but I wasn’t REALLY expecting anything.  Well, so far one pot has four little sprouts in it, and the other has one.  I made plants grow!  I made plants grow!

Well, I think that’s it for now.  I’m going to finish my tea and get down to it.

You need to figure out how it hit a wider audience have you thought about FB advertising? it’s really easy and pretty cheap. I can help you with that when I talk to you next.. maybe this weekend?

  2. Not allowed to do any sort of internet advertising besides our website…. it was explained to me why, but I can’t remember 🙂 Even mentioning it in my blog may be pushing it, I’m not sure.
